Laura received her BSc degree in Pharmacology from Kings College London in 2013 which included a year in industry at GSK. Laura continued at KCL to complete her PhD at the Institute of Psychiatry, investigating the neuropharmacology of Autism Spectrum Disorders. The research was undertaken as an industry-academic collaboration with in vivo research undertaken at Eli Lilly, and clinical research at the IOP (2018). Following the PhD, Laura transitioned into a career in strategic alliance management, utilising her industry and academic experience to drive complex strategic initiatives with global impact which bridge the translational gap. Laura is currently Partnership Lead for Neuroscience at Medicines Discovery Catapult, overseeing the neuroscience portfolio. Providing strategic and scientific leadership across existing partnerships and sourcing opportunities to develop impactful collaborations in areas of medical unmet need, Laura drives and supports pharmacological research to accelerate delivery of patient-focused medicines R&D.Recipient of the ELRIG Early Career Professional Impact Award, 2021.Trustee of the British Pharmacological Society, Dec' 2018 - Dec' 2021.
